On Oct. 31, Academician Wang Zhizhen, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference and vice chairman of the Central Committee of Jiu San Society, visited Wuhan HC Semitek Corporation for inspection. Dr. Liu Rong, president of HC Semitek, played host to Academician Wang Zhizhen and her entourage.
During the inspection, Academician Wang Zhizhen visited the company’s production lines and listened to the reports on the achievements since the fifth anniversary of HC Semitek and the development plan for the next three years. Wang Zhizhen praised and recognized the achievements of HC Semitek when she learned that HC Semitek products are widely used for Shanghai World Expo and the company plans to continue to invest in R&D and scale up production in the three years to come. Wang Zhizhen said that the energy-saving semiconductor lighting industry is a sunrise industry and encouraged HC Semitek to step up R&D investment in basic optoelectronic material technology and contribute to the transformation of China’s economy.
